Gypsy needs a new home.
Gypsy a human imprinted F-2 savannah spayed female just 2 years old has lost her happy home. Her owners divorced and she lost her favorite dog and her human mother in the process. Left with her father, she withdrew and started to have negative litter habits and strike out when approached. Her human Mom picked her up and returned her to Belle Hollow where she has regained her good litter habits and is more reliable in dispostion. She is however very easily over stimulated and can fail to control her claws. She needs a new parent or couple to give her the stimulation and excercise she needs to regain her confidence and social skills. Gypsy loved her Doberman friend and misses play time. She should do fine with a cat friendly dog and potentially another cat but we don't really know how she feels about cats. She was harness trained and loved her cat wheel but she is not excited about any retraint at this time.
The Puurfect home would be someone or a couple that have time and energy to spend with a high energy 2 year old kitten. I would not feel good about introducing her to young kids until she regains control of her emotions. She is now a little man shy but has accepted my husband Stan and enjoys playing and being petted by him. She may not travel by air and should be placed in a home no more than 1 days drive from our farm in Western North Carolina. She will take time to regain her trust in a new home but should return to the sweet, loving high energy pet she was for her first human Mom. If you are interested and close enough to visit you are welcome to come meet her before adoption. Serious inquiries only please.
