"We decided to name her Siri. Siri means “tiger” in Nigerian and in India it is a common name meaning “good fortune” and in Scandinavian it means “beautiful victory”. She is already starting to answer to her new name.
Siri has been great. The car ride back was interesting. She did not want to be in her carrier… neither the small one nor the larger one. She absolutely wanted to ride in the back seat with the dogs… so the entire ride was her trying to figure out how to get to the back seat.
She is the most curious animal I’ve ever seen. She wants to explore everything and meet everyone and go everywhere. I was a little worried on the trip back because she wasn’t interested in food or water because there was so much for her to see and do. We finally got her to eat and drink after hours of trying once she got tired and didn’t want to explore anymore.
She gets along great with our dogs… she likes to swat at them and run away like it’s a fun game. The dogs are very tolerant of her and they seem to get really happy when Siri is running around the house like a mad man.
Just a few days ago she decided she likes the cat tree we got her. Now it’s hard to get her off of it. I’ve attached a great picture of her sitting on her cat tree.
She has a great personality. She goes from insane crazy cat to super cuddly to drop dead tired again and again all day long. I’ll send more pictures and updates as they come in. We are so happy to have her and she’s already a big part of the family. Thanks for doing such a good job with her!"
