Just wanted to give you an update on Horus. He is doing very well. He has adjusted very quickly to the house and to my other pet a 14 year old Yorkie. They are now playing, running after each other and licking each other on the face. The 1st day or 2 was a little iffy but they are doing great now. I had my grandson's 15th birthday luncheon on Sunday and was a little concerned about Horus and how he would react to so many different people in the house. We had all the way from a 1 year old to a 76 year old and he did great. He didn't scratch or bite anyone. He played with all the grandkids very well and even went up to the 1 year old to let her pet him. She was very easy so that made it smoother. He has such a soft touch. Several people asked me if he had been declawed because he was so easy with them. No nails out at all. But when it was all finally over both Horus and Nefi (the Yorkie) and me curled up on the couch and went into a coma for about 2 hours. We were all wore completely out. He loves all his toys and especially his big climbing tree. He's going to the vet on Saturday for his next set of shots. I send you some pictures soon.
Today has been such an amazing day! She was scratching the side of the couch this morning and I scruffed her while she was doing it and told her no. Brought her over to her scratching post. No more scratching the couch so far. When she was kneading on her pillow I was petting her and scruffed her and cuddled and kissed her and set her down she was happy. I don't want her to think of being scruffed as a negative scolding this but a mommy thing where I love and teach her! She has been the most sweet and cuddling this today!
Another picture of Horus on his good side.Taken with my daughters phone so the pictures aren't great but you get the idea of his cut. He is doing great. He is leaving his staples along so I let him sleep without his cone on last night. We go back on Saturday to have the staples removed.
Here's a few pictures of my beautiful boy taken over the weekend. He is so pretty!! He is doing very well after his staples were removed. The staff at the hospital have fell in love with him. He is so sweet to everyone he comes in contact with. He will go back in 4 weeks to have the pin removed and get fixed at the same time.
How could you not love this face!!!
This is Aziza the cooler bronze girl.
This is a picture of Lotus in a rare pose. She is usually moving at high speed. She is a joy to my whole family. She far exceeds our expectations.
He is such a lover. When he is not playing with my little Yorkie, which he loves, he loves to play with all his toys. He is so alert and attentive to everything that is going on all the time. He is a big snuggler which is wonderful for me since I'm the one he wants to snuggle with the most. You were right he is very special.
We have had Zazzy-Pants for a month now and she is truly one of the girls now. I told my husband last night, that this is what it must feel like to truly love a kitty and have them love you back. She is a dream come true. I have established that I'm the momma and she seems to understand now. I love her hard and yet I am firm when she is getting into trouble (which is hardly never). When she was first here she was totally obsessed with wires, now she could really care less about them. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY! PHEW! She follows me everywhere!! She is the most curious and brave little thing!! She goes in the tub and hangs out!! You know sometimes I call her BEBE with a high pitch voice. When we got home from our day trip on Sunday I called her BEBE...and it sounded like she meowed Momma LOL! Everyone heard it..and she said it 3 more times when I called her BEBE! She's such a little lady, always sits and waits for her food to be placed in front of her. She plays so well with the girls. We can take a toy away and she waits for us to give it back. ZaZa will go up and snuggle with them and the girls just love her. She does not eat any of their toys!! So thankful, like you said hopefully she would be a chewer and not an eater. She's actually not really interested in things that aren't hers, which is amazing!! She is snuggled right next to me as I'm typing this and I am just overwealmed with the love I feel!! THANK YOU for being who you are to have given me the opportunty to have another baby to love!!
Isis is adjusting nicely. I'm trying to get her to get along with Lily, but it's not working yet. So, I'm still keeping them separated.
We love our girls!! Thanks again for these wonderful babies!
This is Kiya the warmer Bronze girl
Here are some recent pictures of sisters Aziza and Kiya, all grown up.
I wanted to send you a couple pictures of her when she is snuggling up with me when it's time for bed. She's a super snuggle kitty.
Isis is settled in very nicely. She and Lily are playing great now, chasing each other around the apartment.
Attached is the latest picture of Athena. She has become a beautiful adult cat.
I wanted to let you know that Isis is so comfortable in the house now! The kids absolutely adore her, and she is getting used to them quite easily. She is still mischievous; maybe even more so now. Her favorite spot to try and hide? Inside the fridge when the door is open! I am amazed at how well she is adapting. She and Lily are best friends, playing with each other. She will jump on Lily's back when Lily is laying down. Lily will just stand up, push her off, clean her for a bit, then walk away.
Isis has decided that sleeping with Racquel is the perfect spot. Every night, she waits for Racquel to climb into bed, then curls up on her.
With sultry dark spot pattern Jasmine, silver Egyptian Mau, will be a stunning example of her breed.
